Leeds CanTest Projects

Leeds’ CanTest research focuses on optimising the use of biomarkers and imaging for the diagnosis of lung cancer, point of care tests for cancer, interventions to get GPs to think about cancer more frequently [e.g. ThinkCancer], personalised approaches to screening, risk assessment for head and neck cancer, and development and implementation of a cancer rule-out test. We are currently developing work on the diagnosis of cancer in older and frail people and novel testing pathways to enable earlier diagnosis of myeloma
