The Aarhus University CanTest team are based in the Cancer in Primary Care (CaP) group at the Research Unit for General Practice. The group performs clinical, health services, anthropological and psychological research on the cancer pathway from first symptom until treatment start and on cancer recurrence.

The Aarhus CanTest research includes use of the large Danish health registries and clinical research on diagnosis. This includes studies on cancer in general and on abdominal cancers in general and specific on ovarian, colorectal and lung cancers.
