University Medical Centre, Utrecht

The Utrecht CanTest team is embedded in the Cancer research program of the Julius Center for Health Sciences and Primary Care, the primary care division of the University Medical Center in Utrecht. In this multidisciplinary program, epidemiologists, general practitioners, nurses and oncologists jointly work on improving the evidence for diagnostic and therapeutic interventions in cancer.

Utrecht CanTest Projects

CanTest research in Utrecht focuses on early diagnosis of cancer, on mapping the diagnostic intervals, understanding reasons for delayed diagnosis and trying to find ways to improve the diagnostic management of the main types of cancer in general practice. Together with the Cambridge CanTest team we are studying the process and outcome of the CanTest international research network.
