Monica Zigman Suchsland

Monica has worked as a Research Scientist with the Department of Family Medicine at UW Medicine since 2014. She is also a PhD student in the Department of Epidemiology at the University of Washington. She is involved in numerous research studies as a project manager and data analyst. Current research topics include self-testing for influenza and Covid-19, measuring pathways to lung cancer diagnosis, patient-centered outcomes from diagnostic testing, sudden cardiac arrest in the young, and sport related concussions. Her previous work includes research projects in ergonomics at the University of Washington School of Public Health, biomarkers and air pollution at Harvard University School of Public Health, and research in cognition and aging with the Framingham Heart Study.
